The Marketing & Sales Program introduces students to the strategies, creativity, and communication skills that drive modern marketing, advertising, and sales industries. Students learn how to understand consumer behavior, develop promotional campaigns, analyze market trends, and manage brand messaging across multiple platforms. This pathway is ideal for students interested in advertising, digital media, business development, social media strategy, entrepreneurship, or pursuing business-related college degrees.
Highlights
Students begin at the Pre-Level through Principles of Business, Marketing & Finance or Digital Design Media Production, which lay the foundation for understanding business operations and essential digital tools. Once in high school, students take Marketing, where they study branding, pricing strategies, customer engagement, and market research. At Level 2, they move into Sports & Entertainment Marketing I/II, exploring high-profile marketing sectors and learning how major organizations promote products, teams, events, and media.
In Level 3, students take Social Media Marketing/Advertising, applying digital marketing strategies to real-world scenarios and studying how social platforms influence consumer behavior. During their senior year, students complete Advanced Marketing or select Career Preparation, allowing them to gain authentic workplace experience in marketing, retail, or business environments. Throughout the program, students prepare for the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Certification, which reinforces core business and marketing competencies. Students who completed the Pre-Level course may also earn CCMR credit and qualify for Level 3 exam exemptions.
Benefits & Educational Outcomes
Students graduate with strong communication, creativity, analytical thinking, and project management skills—key attributes valued in all areas of business and marketing. They learn how to design marketing campaigns, interpret customer data, manage social media content, and present ideas effectively. The program prepares students for entry-level roles in retail, advertising, sales, and digital media, while also supporting college pathways in marketing, business administration, communications, and entrepreneurship. With CCMR alignment and an industry-recognized certification, students leave the program with real-world experience and the professional readiness needed to thrive in business and marketing careers.
