A Culture That Lifts Every Learner
Hurricanes live the CAT 5 Core Values—collaboration, risk-taking, integrity, passion, and problem solving—creating a campus where students are known by name, strengths, and needs. Families describe Klein Cain as united and supportive, while students celebrate the many chances to lead, get involved, and “take down any storm.” That community pride fuels achievement in classrooms, studios, and stadiums.

Award-Winning Excellence
Hurricanes stand out across academics and career programs: TSA regional winners for Klein Cain Engineering; DECA state winners; HOSA regional competition winners; FCCLA success; and the Klein Cain Auto Team, which earned 1st place in the UTI Top Gun Auto Competition. In the arts, the Klein Cain HS Chorale is a National Semi-Finalist for The American Prize in Choral Performance and a TMEA Performance Choir (2025). These accolades reflect the campus commitment to excellence—without compromising character.

Athletics with Heart and Hustle
From district titles to state-level performances, Klein Cain athletes compete with purpose. Recent honors include a state championship in boys’ soccer, district championships in football, tennis, cross country, boys’ soccer, and boys’ basketball, plus state-performing teams in track and field, swimming and diving, golf, and cross country. Hurricanes also celebrate Academic All-State recognition and a 6A State Champion National Football Foundation Academic Excellence Award, underscoring a balance of brains and grit.
