School Description
Klein, Texas—Welcome to Klein Intermediate, home of the Falcons and a proud Klein ISD Triple AAA campus excelling in academics, arts, and athletics. Nestled at 4710 W. Mount Houston Rd., Klein, TX 77088, Klein Intermediate blends high expectations with a warm, student-centered culture so every learner enters with a promise and exits with a purpose.
A Culture That SOARs
Falcons live the core values of S.O.A.R.—Safety, Organization, Achievement, and Respect—creating classrooms and hallways where character and scholarship go hand in hand. Families find a technology-rich campus committed to both strong academics and the social-emotional development of students, with engaging lessons and meaningful scholarly discourse that invite every voice.
Learning That Opens Doors
Klein Intermediate offers pathways that build confidence and momentum for high school and beyond. Students dive into Klein Prep, aligned to Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, and International Baccalaureate expectations; accelerate through Algebra, Geometry, Biology, and Humanities; explore Career and Technical Education; take Spanish; and even earn high school credit while still in intermediate school. With the district’s 1:1 Connected program, every student accesses a laptop for coursework—extending research, creativity, and collaboration beyond the bell.
Arts, Athletics, and Activities for All
From the stage to the stadium, Falcons have countless ways to shine. Fine arts include band, choir, orchestra, theatre, and art—perfect for students ready to perform, design, and create. Competitive opportunities span basketball, cheer, cross country, football, soccer, track & field, and volleyball, with coaches emphasizing academics, teamwork, perseverance, and school pride. Students also connect through clubs such as Destination Imagination, Cooking Club, Book Club, Soccer, and Dance, with many more ways to lead and serve.
Recognized for Character and Care
Klein Intermediate is celebrated for nurturing the whole learner. The campus earned Promising Practice recognition from Character.org, reflecting intentional efforts to grow empathy, integrity, and leadership. Families and staff echo that commitment.
Partners in Every Student’s Success
Falcon families are essential teammates. Parents engage through volunteering and the Campus-Based Family Engagement Parent Liaison Program, while students discover their strengths in classrooms, labs, studios, and clubs. Led by Principal Trevor Woolley, the Klein Intermediate team is focused and determined to support each child’s growth—academically, socially, and emotionally.
