O.I. E. (OPERATE IN EXCELLENCE)
At Wunderlich, Wildcats strive for excellence every day—academically, socially, and personally. We are committed to nurturing strong scholars who think critically, build meaningful relationships, and develop character grounded in integrity and compassion. Through ethics, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking, we prepare our students to thrive and lead in an ever-changing world.
The Dawning of a New Era
Our new school song, “Wildcat Pride,” is a celebration of who we are as the Wunderlich community. It brings our students together in a shared voice that reflects courage, wisdom, and unity in our maroon and blue. The song inspires pride in our school, confidence in our abilities, and a sense of belonging for every Wildcat. As we sing about rising together, leading with purpose, and reaching new heights, “Wildcat Pride” reminds us that our strength comes from supporting one another, caring for our community, and believing in ourselves. Through this song, we proudly show the heart, spirit, and excellence of the Wunderlich Wildcats—today and always.

A Culture Recognized for Character (C.A.T.S.)
As Wildcats, We Celebrate Success, Accept all people, Thrive academically, Show school spirit. At Wunderlich, families truly feel the difference. Parents share that our teachers, staff, and administrators are highly responsive and deeply committed to creating a healthy, supportive learning environment. Our educators add that students love learning and take pride in achieving their highest level of performance—sharing their Wildcat Pride with peers across the district.
Academic Opportunities That Open Doors
Wildcats build momentum for high school through Klein Prep, aligned to Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, and International Baccalaureate expectations. Students can accelerate with Algebra, Geometry, Biology, and Humanities, and even earn high school credit while still in intermediate school. The district’s 1:1 Connected initiative places a laptop in every student’s hands, powering research, collaboration, and creativity so learning extends beyond the bell.
Fine Arts, Athletics, and Student Life
From the spotlight to the starting line, there’s a place for every Wildcat to shine. Fine arts include orchestra, band, choir, theatre, and art, helping students build confidence and creativity. Athletic offerings feature football, volleyball, basketball, track and field, cross country, tennis, swimming, and cheer, developing teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit. Students also explore interests through the Coding Club and Robotics Club, with additional leadership and service opportunities for growing scholars.
Partners in Every Student’s Success
Wunderlich believes families are essential teammates. Parents connect through Family Engagement Programs and Parent University courses that provide tools to support students at home and at school. Our welcoming campus culture ensures that every Wildcat is known by name, strengths, and needs, with staff ready to listen, respond, and celebrate each child’s growth.
