School Description

Klein, Texas—Welcome to Schindewolf Intermediate, home of the Timberwolves and a Klein ISD Triple AAA campus excelling in academics, arts, and athletics. Located at 20903 Ella Blvd., Klein, TX 77388, Schindewolf pairs high expectations with a warm, student-centered culture so every learner enters with a promise and exits with a purpose.

Who We Are
Who We Are: Opened in 2002, Schindewolf serves approximately 1,100 Timberwolves with a dedicated team of 130 teachers and support staff who are grateful to serve our community. Our mission is to “Create excellence in learning, character, and community” by promoting kindness, self-control, integrity, interpersonal skills, and respect for authority. We take pride in every staff member being a leader for school improvement and driving innovations that focus on student growth and development. We take pride in being a place where our community is a family.

Academic Opportunities That Open Doors
Students build momentum for high school through Klein Prep, aligned to Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, and International Baccalaureate expectations. Learners can accelerate with Algebra, Geometry, Biology, Humanities, and Art; explore Career and Technical Education; study Spanish; and even earn high school credit while still in intermediate school. With 1:1 Connected devices for every student, engaging digital tools extend research, collaboration, and creativity beyond the classroom.

Awards That Tell Our Story
Timberwolves bring heart and hustle. Over the past two decades, our athletics programs have earned 50+ district championships across boys’ and girls’ sports. Destination Imagination teams compete at state and global levels. Our scholars and artists shine with Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, including a National Gold Medal in Art and a National Silver Medal in Writing. The award-winning music department—band, choir, and orchestra—consistently earns sweepstakes at local and state contests.

Arts, Athletics, and Activities for All
From the stage to the stadium, Timberwolves have countless ways to thrive. Fine arts offerings include art, band, choir, orchestra, and theatre. Competitive opportunities span basketball, cheer, cross country, football, soccer, swimming, tennis, track & field, and volleyball. Students lead and serve through Destination Imagination, National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, T-Wolf Detectives, and many more clubs that build confidence, character, and school pride.

Get Involved
Partnerships power success at Schindewolf. Families connect through PTO and campus volunteer opportunities, while students find their niche in clubs, electives, and teams. Together we build a caring community where every Timberwolf is known, supported, and challenged to excel.
