Why Families Choose Zwink
At Zwink, our promise is simple and powerful: High Expectations…High Support. Students and staff live a shared set of commitments—Educational Excellence, Prized Relationships, Collaborative Community, Attitude of Gratitude, and Intentional Loyalty—that you’ll see in every classroom and hallway. Families describe a campus where the well-being of students is the top priority, and teachers, specialists, and paraprofessionals work together as one cohesive team to deliver the very best learning opportunities.
Biliteracy That Opens Doors
Zwink proudly features Klein ISD’s Two-Way Dual Language Program—a biliteracy model that integrates native Spanish speakers and native English speakers in core subjects. Beginning in Kindergarten and continuing through 5th grade, instruction is 50% Spanish and 50% English across Math, Reading, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. The program’s mission is to develop bilingual, biliterate, and socioculturally competent learners who thrive in a multilingual world. Dual Language offers the opportunity to earn a high school foreign language credit. Zwink Elementary also offers Bilingual PreK.
A Culture Recognized for Character
Zwink is a National School of Character—a distinction from Character.org that reflects our whole-child approach. Guided by the TEKS and the district Profile of a Learner, we engage students in rigorous learning and character development every day. Each child has access to a school counselor who supports academic, personal, and career growth—because success is about more than test scores.
The Triple AAA Experience
As a proud Klein ISD Triple AAA campus, Zwink balances strong Academics with vibrant Arts and daily Athletics/movement. Every Zebra participates in music and art and has 100% participation in physical education—building creativity, confidence, teamwork, and healthy habits alongside core skills.
Clubs and Leadership for Every Interest
Students discover passions and practice leadership through a robust slate of clubs: Coding Club, Choir Club, Art Club, Striders Club, Name That Book Club, Strings, and Garden Club, with new opportunities added as interests grow. Whether your child loves to build, perform, read, create, or move, there’s a place to belong, lead, and shine.
Partners in Every Child’s Success
Family engagement fuels Zebra life. Join the Zwink PTO to stay connected with events and programs, or volunteer to support classrooms, the library, bulletin boards, and student celebrations—there are even ways to help from home. Together, we make learning personal, joyful, and memorable.
School Motto
High Expectations…High Support.
