Challenging Academics With Real Options
Students build momentum for high school through Klein Prep, aligned with Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, and International Baccalaureate expectations. Learners can accelerate with Algebra, Geometry, Biology, and Humanities; explore Career and Technical Education; study Spanish or French; and even earn high school credit while still in intermediate school. With the district’s 1:1 Connected program, every student has a device to research, collaborate, and create—extending learning beyond the classroom. 

Fine Arts That Shine
Creativity thrives at Krimmel. The full orchestra was a finalist for TMEA Honor Full Orchestra, and the Symphonic Band performed at the prestigious Midwest Clinic. Students also develop voice and confidence through choir, theatre, art, and dance, earning recognition at district and state levels while building skills that last a lifetime. 

Athletics That Build Leaders
Knights compete—and grow—in football, volleyball, basketball, track and field, cross country, tennis, swimming,and cheer. Teams have earned multiple district championships, and coaches emphasize teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship so athletes are prepared to succeed on the field and in the classroom. 

Clubs, Service, and Student Leadership
There’s a place for every passion. Students connect through Destination Imagination, the Krimmel Knightbots Robotics Team, Name That Book Club, National Junior Honor Society, and many more organizations. A highly active PTO partners with staff, and community mentors support students who benefit from extra encouragement—extending the circle of care around every Knight.

Krimmel is a National School of Character and a Model PLC School, demonstrating a campuswide commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement, and doing what’s best for students. The school also celebrates state and national Scholastic Writing Program recognitions and a winning tradition across academics, arts, and athletics.
