Hofius Intermediate

Klein, Texas—Welcome to Hofius Intermediate, a vibrant Klein ISD Triple AAA campus where Hawks are known, challenged, and celebrated in academics, arts, and athletics. Located at 8400 W. Rayford Rd., Klein, TX 77389, Hofius serves grades 6–8 and invites families into a warm, high-expectation community focused on helping every student enter with a promise and exit with a purpose.

Learning That Opens Doors
With Klein Prep aligned to Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, and International Baccalaureate expectations, Hofius gives learners a strong runway into high school. Students can take accelerated courses—including Algebra, Geometry, Biology, and Humanities—and even earn high school credit while in intermediate school. Modern, open learning spaces—including a learning commons and makerspaces—support collaboration and creativity, and the district’s 1:1 Connected program places a device in every student’s hands so learning stretches beyond the bell.

A Stage, A Lab, A Playing Field—Find Your Fit
Hofius offers a full slate of fine arts—band, orchestra, choir, theatre, and art—and a deep menu of athletics, including football, volleyball, basketball, track & field, cross country, tennis, swimming, and cheer. Hawks also take off through clubs and organizations such as Destination Imagination, Robotics, Coding, Math Club, Name That Book, Chess Club, Culture for Caring, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, Student Memory Book Club, HEROES Academy, Theatre Arts, and more. These experiences build confidence, leadership, and a strong sense of school pride.

Results That Speak
Hawks pair heart with high performance. The Hofius Symphonic Band was invited to perform at the Music for All Festival in Indianapolis (2022) and recognized by the National Music Foundation as a Commended Winner—Mark of Excellence (2021). Hofius Destination Imagination teams earned 1st place at Regionals in Scientific Performance (2021) and Fine Arts (2022). Students also shine in literacy contests—Name That Book and Spelling Bee—and on the field with 37 district championships in athletics.

Hofius is designed with families in mind. The campus features open, flexible spaces that invite collaboration; personalized learning; and an active PTO that partners closely with staff.
