School Description
Klein, Texas—Welcome to Hildebrandt Intermediate, a Klein ISD Triple AAA campus where Mustangs are known, challenged, and celebrated in academics, arts, and athletics. Located at 22800 Hildebrandt Rd., Klein, TX 77389, Hildebrandt serves grades 6–8 with a caring, student-centered culture that helps learners enter with a promise and exit with a purpose.
A Culture Built on H.E.A.R.T.
Mustangs live their values every day through the H.E.A.R.T. of a Mustang focus—leadership, integrity, loyalty, determination, and problem-solving. Families describe a campus where teachers “go above and beyond to help students feel successful,” and staff are “a driven group of professionals who do what is best for students each and every day.” That commitment to excellence, innovation, and clear communication ensures students feel safe, supported, and ready to grow.
Challenging Coursework, Real Options
Hildebrandt personalizes learning so students build confidence and mastery. Academic opportunities include Klein Prep aligned to Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, and International Baccalaureate expectations; accelerated coursework in Algebra, Geometry, Biology, and Humanities; and multiple high school credit options while still in intermediate school. The campus supports every learner with targeted Academic Intervention and Extension through LEAD, plus the district’s 1:1 Connected program that equips every student with a device to research, collaborate, and create—expanding learning beyond the classroom.
Arts and Athletics That Shine
From the studio to the stage to the starting line, Mustangs find their stride. Fine arts offerings include band, choir, orchestra, theatre, and art, with a record of recognition in UIL competitions and at Kemah Choir Days, along with Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Finalists, Junior VASE winners, and Scholastic Silver Key and national writing honors. On the field and court, students compete in basketball, cheer, cross country, football, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball, highlighted by the 2022–2023 undefeated 7th-grade boys district champions and a 2023 award-winning cheer team with All-American honorees.
Clubs, Leadership, and Community
Hildebrandt offers 18+ student clubs so every Mustang can connect, lead, and serve. Popular choices include Robotics, Coding, Book Club, Student Council, Destination Imagination, Pentathlon, and more. Families are true partners through volunteering and a strong Parent Teacher Organization, reinforcing a welcoming atmosphere that lifts student achievement and school pride.
