This program gives 4-year-olds a strong foundation that prepares them to enter kindergarten eager and ready to learn.

Qualification Criteria
To be eligible for Klein ISD’s Qualified (state-funded) Pre-K, a child must be four years old on or before September 1 and meet one of the Texas Education Agency’s qualifying criteria (examples include income eligibility, limited English proficiency, or other qualifying conditions). Families must provide verification documents such as the child’s proof of identity, an up-to-date immunization record, and proof of residence at time of registration.
