How We Teach—and Why It Works
Krahn’s Program Highlight is community-building that accelerates learning. Each morning, students connect in community circles to strengthen relationships with peers and teachers. In class, learners use Learning Intentions and Success Criteria to see what quality looks like, then set short- and long-term goals to reach it. We teach the “Learning Pit” so children understand that struggle is part of growth—and how to climb out with perseverance and help from others. This clarity turns daily practice into lasting confidence.

As a proud Klein ISD Triple AAA campus, every Cardinal enjoys 100% participation in physical education and 100% participation in music and art. Daily movement, music, and visual arts build healthy habits, creativity, and confidence that power success in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
