Why Families Choose Klenk
Klenk is a National School of Character with a campus culture centered on PAWS—Passion for Excellence, Attitude of Growth, We-Not-Me Attitude, and Skillful Innovators. Those shared commitments show up in classrooms, hallways, and on the playground as students practice kindness, take smart risks, and cheer one another on. Our mission is to empower leaders to transform the world, and we build leadership through daily routines and meaningful roles such as Safety Patrol, Legacy Leadership, and student announcements.
Learning That Opens Doors
Klenk teachers focus on clarity, feedback, and student voice. Children understand what success looks like, set goals, and get the targeted support they need to reach them. As part of Klein ISD’s whole-child approach, a full-time counselor partners with families to support academic, personal, and career development—because thriving students are more than test scores. Klenk is also a proud Triple AAA campus, balancing strong Academics with vibrant Arts and daily Athletics/movement, including 100% participation in music and art and 100% participation in physical education.
Biliteracy at Klenk: Two-Way Dual Language
Our signature program is the Two-Way Dual Language pathway, which integrates native Spanish and native English speakers in core subjects. From Kindergarten through fifth grade, students learn 50% in Spanish and 50% in English across math, reading, language arts, science, and social studies—building bilingual, biliterate, and socioculturally competent learners. Klenk also hosts Klein ISD’s Vietnamese Dual Language program, expanding opportunities for multilingual students and families.
Clubs, Creativity, and Belonging
There’s a place for every Cougar to shine. Students explore Choir, Coding Club, Destination Imagination, Leadership Academy, Legacy Leadership Team, Name That Book, Pickleball, and Safety Patrol—programs that spark curiosity, grow leadership, and connect kids with friends and mentors who cheer them on. Performances, showcases, and service projects create joyful moments that build confidence and school pride.
Partners in Every Child’s Success
Klenk makes it easy to get involved through the Parent/Teacher Organization, campus volunteering, and Parent University sessions that equip caregivers to support learning at home.

Topics range from helping with homework to building healthy routines to navigating digital safety, all aligned to each school’s academic goals.
